      My '72 Cutlass updates

I figured since I actually had an update I'd go ahead and post it up. Finally finished putting together my engine, specs are:
370" LS2 stock crank, Manley rods, Wiesco pistons w/LS3 topend, ZR1 cam, approx 9:1 and lots of gold paint

Damn I hate it when life gets in the way of a project lol
Anyway, my Holley turbo manis came in yesterday:

      https://flic.kr/p/YLLE73

Need to reroute my fuel line since the manifold tucks right up to the block, right where I was running the line:
      https://flic.kr/p/YPnHa4

Also need to grind on my Dirty Dingo motor mount since the pass side mani hits it. Hopefully it wont be much, doesnt seem like it will be but you know how that goes sometimes:
      https://flic.kr/p/YKdPL7

Might do some grinding later today and install the crossover. Since the v-band for the turbo is under the heater lines there is no interference with accessories. Liking what I see so far.

Welp, did some hacking and slashing on my DD mount, think I'm good there. Ran into another spot that needs some work:
      https://flic.kr/p/XK7cyL

Could roll the dice and grind down the bump on the mani a bit, but I think I'll play it safe and massage the mount. To be continued....

After a bit of hacking and slashing, the manifolds are in:

      https://flic.kr/p/YYAmo4
      https://flic.kr/p/YVSHJY
      https://flic.kr/p/XXmRCa
Still need to reroute the fuel line and probably the heater/ac lines when the time comes. The trans cooler lines are touching the flex coupler on the crossover so will need to address that too. Oy, its always something.

Trying to fit a couple 4" coaxials for a center channel. They are a bit weighty and of course I didn't do any measuring beforehand so this should be fun lol Arts and crafts weekend has started:

I dig it! I have a pair of 3.5" I plan to run as a "center channel" to bring the sound stage up a little. I have Alpine Type S components front and rear (no tweeters in the back) running off an Alpine amp. I'm thinking of just running the 3.5" speakers off the head unit.

How do you plan on powering yours?

Nice, I have Type E coaxials that I bought years ago which will end up in the kick panels and rear shelf. Decided to try a Kenwood 1177524 since I usually just stream bluetooth anyway, plus I've always used traditional head-units in the past so thought this might be a fun experiment.
