The best bang for the buck is going to be the 12.8" C5 big brake kit. I bought the starter kit from Custom Works that includes hubs, brake lines, bearings, and the caliper brackets. Then I found a good deal on some used calipers, abutments, and rotors. All in, you should be under 500 bucks. Or you could spend a little more and get all new from Kore3.

Depending on the size rims you have, you may be able to upgrade to the Z51 package with 13.4" rotors, and still use the C5 calipers.

Over the brake.. got to make some good progress... finished filling, sanding, and painting the fire wall... mounted the frame back up with new poly bushings... and mocked up engine and trans mount... just have to drop them in and make sure everything is aligned..

Cheapest front brake upgrade you can do is a 1LE 12" conversion. Theres a whole thread of info on it here.....

      thanks Leigh,

Thats pretty much what i'm going for... i'm not a big fan of chrome... more of paint to match stuff... so i'm going to try to keep it as clean as possible
