Andrew, Here you go. Porsche/T56 or LS/T56 ? Dinsdale of The Piranha Bros makes kits for either. T http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...swap-pics.html

Thanks for the link. The drama on the rennlist forum is pretty amusing. It reminded me of the backlash from the RX7 guys when people started dropping LSx engines in them, almost 10 years ago. I've always loved the 928.

Are there certain years of 928s that are better than others? I assume newer cars have improved brakes etc...

Yeah, the drama does get a little deep over there at times. The 86.5+ with vin ending in 1001 or higher have the bigger S4 brakes all around. Like other cars, low mileage, well maintained cars will be more. The higher h.p. 80-86 Euro "S" models will be more $$, the 87-92 GT's are normally $$$ and the 93-95 GTS's usually fetch $$$$. If swapping in a LS/T56, you can pick up a 78-91 non-runner for little $ Much of the 928 is aluminum re: doors, hood, front fenders and the rear qtrs. are galvanized steel, so mostly are rust free. If any rust is to be found, it's on the lower rear qtr windows and lower hatch. T

Routed the GM harness through the firewall. Also found a spot to mount the fuse box. It's looking nice & tidy in the engine bay. T

Light brown tint should tie in nicely with the 34 year young pascha interior. T

Had this other project going on at the same time. It's called Just Beachy. A 94 928 GTS that was just completed. Redone interior that included a rear seat delete, almost new 997 sport seats, custom sound system, new carpet, etc. Deleted the side rub strips, sunroof, rear wiper, side marker lights, front headlight squirters, exterior door locks, US bumperettes. Swapped in an S4 rear bumper cover, and then onto a full take apart paint job. Will hopefully finish up Just Peachy soon and add more pics. T
