Don't let him get ahold of the outfit posted above, that would get you banned from the internets.

Yes, that should work with the pan so long as it clears the windage tray and oil pump pick up. I'm afraid you may not have the room on the inside of the oil pan to notch the pan properly. I think notching and bracing the xmember on the car will be the smart way to go but I'm not there in person to see what all you're working around.

      That interior is cool.

Thank you. Tried to order a Mast pan today but they are NIS until mid-late Dec. The steering rack sits under the crossmember so cutting into that is not an option. Might look into that Autokraft pan next. T

Plan to design a few aluminum custom parts. Picked up a Miller Tig for Dinsdale (Piranha Bros) to play with. Cleaned up the engine bay and painted the Koni's black (red had to go!). Gonna jump on this project after the holidays big time ! T

I ask myself who would want a sleek European car that is light and handles and put way to much American horsepower in it? Holy crap I would and why the hell didn't I think of doing a swap like this? Very cool car and I love that you are doing something different. Please do keep the pics coming and that interior is way beyond cool, chicka-bow-wow...

Sweet build. I like the body style of these. My neighbor has a pretty nice grey one.

Holy Crap! No wonder 928's were so expensive when they were new. I guess there was no one with any printed circuit knowledge in the building.

Don't forget that's circa 1979. The wiring harvested from the 79 donor car is in pristine condition, otherwise I would be running this: http://www.isispower.com/ T

Dry run. Massaged the custom motor mounts. Checked for clearance all around to make sure it all fits. Also configured how to adapt the Porsche electrics to the GM LS. T
