Wow, that's bad. In my opinion, our boy here is doing a MUCH better job.

OUCH Don.I think cutting out a pickup truck sized tail light housing hole to mount 59 caddy lights in was the worst part.

I did a little skimcoat of epoxy filler, mostly on front edges on the rear visor & got a couple coats of SPI epoxy on it at work yesterday while I was spraying some on the clock anyway. At least it's sealed off & shiny black now, so I can see what more it may need to make the front edge symmetrical & consistent. Top will have to be bodyworked again anyway , since I'm bonding it to the roof.

The ad does state "illness drives sale." I assume in his case, it was mental.

Did the 2010 nose in summer 2009' before switch to 2016 nose in 2016. Haven't seen another complete nose conversion till now. Pic sent to me from cruising the coast show.

Coated inner wheel well & front inner wall metal with a urethane sealant & and some fire retardant spray foam up front. More sanding on quarter panel & sprayed a coat of g-2 primer surfacer .
Did final test fit of quarter panel. Got it bolted on in the back, glued on in middle , & part of tack welds done up front.

edit:: all work was right side up when I did it.Name: 20191012_215301.jpg

Got first round of bodywork done to bedcover & gave 2 coats of epoxy. Looks pretty good in pic, but still needs a few rounds of sanding, light filling & priming.

Got out in sunlight with shiny epoxy primer to see what shapes need more work now before getting smoother. Damn but this g-body wheel flare area sure got past me here.Name: 20191103_161742.jpg
