396 carb size

I have a 68 396 that was out of a 68 impala in my 68 elcamino. it has an old style aluminum intake and older 4 barrel holley. i believe the motor is pretty much stock putting maybe 325 HP. i going to pull the intake off and replace it with a edelbrock performer intake. my question is.......what is a good size cfm carb for this setup. im going to use a edelbrock performer carb as well, would a 750 cfm be to much for a stock motor? any suggestions? thanks!

750 is not too big, engine came with a 750 Qjet from the factory

I figured a 750 with electric choke would do the trick.
