      My 68 mustang coupe

New to this world of computers. Gonna make an effort cause I like what I see on this site. Wondering if there are any events that a new commer might attend in the Toronto Canada area. Looking for an excuse to bring the car out. Here are some pics.

      Angelo,

I have saved a picture of your car to my screen saver pics! What are the specs on the car?

Interstesting choice of body modifications, turned out really nice.

Did you fabricate the front spoiler, or is that off the shelf?

      Welcome!

Car was built to a transam look six years ago but this winter i made a lot of changes. I got my hands on a prototype 67 shelby carbon fiber hood, nose piece and a carbon fiber California Special rear lid. That got the new look going. Dropprd the front end 2.5" and put in the new CPP suspension. 2" drop in back. Rim and rubber are now 18" (from 15" ) with 245 in front and 295 in back. Manual disc breaks on all four corners. Shortened 8.8 to accommodate the 9.5" rims. Running a 351 SVO create motor married to a T-5 and a 355 gear. Thanx for the interest!

Made it out of aluminum - after my fourth wood template. Put in functional break cooling ducts. Was always into the race look and love well placed spoilers but its kind of touchy with the 68 body style so thanx for the compliment.

The wheel and tire fitment and ride height look spot on. Sounds like an fantastic streetcar with the combination you have.

Funny, turns out the file is too big. gonna have to figure out how to reduce the image or reshoot in a lower resolution. The seats themselves are called Tuner FX. Very nice change from stock. Welded a plate to the tracks to give me more backward adjustment while still using the same mounting holes. They are also feather light in comparison to stock.

I dont suppose you would have any suggestions on the rear suspension for the coupe? It handles great for a street car but next winters projects would be rear suspension and steering box to finish the handling side of things

I just installed Ride Techs coilover 4-link in my 2nd Gen F-body, and am very happy with the results. So this is the direction i'm going in the rear with my Boss 302 clone. the front is already done with TCP coilovers and power rack.
