However long you think your project will take, double it and you might be halfway right.

No problem, I just ask you wait to pass judgment until I get it painted up and on the ground. Unfortunately I won't be using those very nice lights like posted (maybe one day) but ill make mine custom enough. I am just tired of the same ole stuff being done.

I know where you are coming from and like how you are thinking outside the box. I hope you can pull it off.

You know what would be really trick with those tail lights. I was thinking about this last night. If you don't do it I am. Don't use the bezel. Weld some studs on the inside and you would have to make a frame for the inside, just to make it a little thicker around the light opening. Your would be easier to do than mine. You have that nice flat panel. See, that's what I want something different also. A different nose or rear valance or something.

Ok, I have to move in a few weeks do I need to make the mustang mobile.

      10am

      4pm

This includes a junkyard run and a parts run. I need to put another tire on the driver side wheel as it has a huge crack in the side wall.

Cobras or Bullits? I forgot how small the car is when it's sitting down.

I thought this looks cool. Iceman, these are your bezels, I swapped left to right because they have a taper to them.

Keep in mind these are just 275s and so I can move the car around on.

Z06killinSBF, your project is looking great and on pace with what I am currently doing to my '66 coupe. so far i have had it mini tubbed and the rear frame have been cut and boxed and moved out to allow the 315 / 35. Also the trunk floor has been cut / discarded and new one welded in to hold future fuel cell. Currently the firewall has been removed to make way for a complete smooth [piece which should be finished by weeks end. Shock towers have been removed and a Rod and Custom Mustang 2 has started going in. Now its time to save more cash to buy the wheels and tires and then measure for the Currie. good luck to you and keep us posted!

Make the frame rail stiffeners. They do good at Mustangs. 60x60x2t psquare profile (mm´s it is) goes right inside front frame rails and just make the design at the back as you want. Mine goes smoothly in to rear frame, protruding about 1" inside rear leg room. There are many ready products also available, if you dont feel like fabricating ;) Bigger thin walled is better than thick wall small diameter, by the way.

planning to mini tub mine too, Going with 295-30-18 Yokohamas, which should fit easily, with Fikse 10 inch wheels. FR500C model...

The camaro tails are really growing on me... my suggestion would be to get a piece of lexan, tint it and use some red LED bulbs. If you keep it looking close to this, Im in

Chris, it will look very close to that. I'm going to even lose the chrome for an all black look. Perhaps a frenched style too I've been kicking around.

More work on getting it all reassembled for the move. Since I don't know when I'll be able to work on it next I'm trying to get it back almost 100%.

Layed some por-15 down over the new metal and unprotected area, stuck the interior back in and fit the other tail light. More painters tape as well. Reason one taillight looks funny is one is painted and the other is sun bleached and they are held in by friction.

      I had a few helpers
