i like the direction you are going with the tail. if you finish that wing & cap setup, i would add metal to the bumper to fill in gaps. have you though about recessing the inside of your wing/end cap so it lines up with the tail light panel like the stock ones do? that might look slick and break up some of the the flat look on the side and top of the tail light. just a thought
btw i wish my garage was as clean as yours !

Thanks! I think what I'm going to do is cut back around the tail lights and put filler pieces at an angle to smooth them out and also fill in the bumper. It looks more blocky in pictures, in person it looks really smooth.

And the the garage is actually messy compared, my wife wanted all the Christmas stuff down out of the attic so everything is stacked up. Then the attic ladder broke, so I have a new one sitting here ready to go in.

Thanks everyone. I have no idea what I'm doing and the light can be lost when doing something like this so if y'all have some recommendations please post up.

If it makes you feel better, most of us have no idea what we are doing. I sure as hell don't. Just tell people you watched a video on YouTube = instant expert.

haha i replaced the frames, rockers, floors, trunk, rear quarters, wheel tubs, shock towers & aprons, cowls & parts of firewall, door skins, tail light panel, with zero body work experience. i am a "decent" welder so i was ok there. i would do a little research on how to properly replace each part, and add in a little common sense lmao. everything came out straight. i have a couple pages of measurements i took before i cut it apart so i had references. at times i felt a little overwhelmed. at one point i had the inner rockers, floor & wheel tubs completely out. i felt like "i was in over my head" and i almost gave up on the whole project. i know the feeling ! originally i replaced all sheetmetal as stock, i have changed several things afterwards because stock was not good enough anymore. nothing like cutting out brand new parts, the price of hot rodding hahaha

i like how you are making the spoiler. i have been planning on something similar, make the end caps out of steel, slightly reshape them. and make a spoiler on the trunklid ( a little narrower than yours). keep going i think the end result you will look good on your car !

here is a awesome photoshop i made ( dont laugh)lol. where i painted black, i think you should indent or recess this area in about 2 inches or close to the same plane as the tail light panel.
      * edit* maybe a simple curve, like a 90 deg bend. would look good as well !

Issue here. I started installing the leaf sliders and came to an abrupt hault. The bushing/inserts that came in the kit are half the diameter of the leaf eye. I ordered the Chrysler kit and am curious if I may have received the wrong parts. Anyone have any input on this?
