Picked up some custom gauges (missing the tach), Scott Drake gauge cluster and booted the cheepy Sunpro triple cluster to mount my boost, AF and fuel psi in. I was going to build a custom pod for them but this will work for now.

I know I built the car tuck a wide rear tire but I'm REALLLLLLYYYYY wanting to do flares on it to toughen the look up and fit a wider front tire.

Tire experts, I have a question. I'm currently running a 18x8.5 with a 255/40-18 Goodyear on the front of the 66 and it is all over the fenders, basically un drive able. What would be a good size to run but still maintain a fat-ish front tire?

You rim width/offset is probably the real issue. How much more clearance do you need. We talking a few millimeter or inches? You could try a 245 that runs narrow, like a Nitto or a 225 that runs wide like a Kuhmo. I always thought Goodyears tended to run actual if not slightly narrow. The 245 would be good if it gives enough clearance, the 225 might start to look a bit stretched.

That is a pretty tall tire. Try a 35 series. How much camber/caster can you put into it?

After hitting up the Power Tour yesterday I am fueled again to get started on the car, I haven't done much of anything to it in 3 months. Just in time for summer in Texas, woot!

The front wheels are 18x8.5 5.75 BS and +25 offset. The 69 spindles with the Vintage Venom kit actually pushed the wheels out so I'm going to try a narrower tire on the front.

I think mine were the 01 bullet wheels. I think they were 5.93 or something that was not drivable at all. I like what you did to the rear, I am getting ready to install crites relocation kit. Mine has been mini tubbed as well
