Rearend is assembled and it rolled out of the garage on its own wheels!! Whoohooo! I'll post pics later but it looks killer sitting in the sun on the big tires.

Looks great, nothing like a nice fat rear tire. You have a date in mind that you plan to have it back on the road?

Thanks, I love it. I still have a few things to order like fuel cell, seat covers, rear brakes, front torque boxes, and some odds n ends. Tough doing while going to school, work, family and maintaining the other cars. I'd like to drive it before Xmas time.

I'm thinking about putting air ride on the front but I can't afford $800 Shockwaves. Does anyone know if the Firestone sleeve bags would work ok for this app?

Don't do it! The only proven way to get good handling out of an air suspension is the Shockwave route. Plus sleeve bags ride very rough, you would want a bellow-type bag up front. Why are you wanting to go air ride? I would either say spend the money elsewhere on the car or save up until you can do the entire car, front and rear with a proper ridetech set-up.

Extra points for color matching the rear bumper AND blacking out the taillight panel.

      Looking good... keep it up!

I got stung by a stink bug last week. How weird! ..... that's it.

Car looks great! Are you going to get one piece torque boxes or two piece. ( welded together, or not. I have to get them for my 67 and not sure I'm seeing any benefit in the two piece.

Short of getting air ride technologies to sponsor me some bags, I'll continue with what I have.

Body work has started. No pics but I got the taillights fully fitted, stock trunk lid back on (selling duck tail) and am shaving the drip rails. I have the driver side cut off and fully seem welded and got the car turned around so I can do the pass side. I found a few rust bubbles that need attention and some filler cracks to redo.

I want to do a color change but am unsure what I'll be happy with.

Satin options: Black, silver or charcoal

Shiny: Bright silver, black, white (another white mustang though), dark green, different blue (Ford Reef blue maybe).

      Any other ideas or recommendations?

Keep it blue, don't see allot of blue muscle cars so it will stand out from the crowd. You could always go pimp, heavy flake gold.
