They show me in 7th place on the autox. Although I wish I was that fast, I'm sure that is a mistake. The fastest time I turned that I'm aware of was a 75.5.

Am I reading that right? Road course times are less "time" than the autoX times?

It was a FAST auto-x. I have never driven such a fast course (not that I've driven that many) but it sure was fun!

Make sure you watch the video - it's very well done!

Looked at the results...was hoping to get closer to the top. But you guys just keep getting better and faster. Impossible to keep up!!

Though after studying the list a few times...my favorite part is the fact that Mike Holleman brought his '65 Camaro. I must have missed that car...wish I had gotten a chance to see it.

The autocross was the West Course Section of the track.
      It's .987 mile long , LOL .
It was basically a road course with some cones for chicanes ...
Some of the cars were hitting 85mph plus on the autocross .

Very true. They also listed my 68 as a 65 in the RTTC results.

Adam - I glanced at my speedometer and got saw at least low to mid 130's on the back straight of the long track in my car. Granted mine is faster now with the new engine than it ever has been but I feel sure the pro's cars were a good bit faster. In my case, THANK GOD for good brakes!! My inexperienced tail probably didn't need to be on the big track without any previous experience or training.

Were you allowed "open passing" like I saw in the DSE videos?

No, they required point-by passing. I know a few times I just moved over and slowed down and allowed someone to pass. Often times it was obvious when a faster car wanted by.
