Going to SEMA in 2012? Please read this post!

If you plan to attend SEMA this year (2012) and need a room for the week or most of it please vote in this poll.

I am working on a room deal at the Clarion (former Greek Isles) where we had the Pro-Touring.com SEMA dinner in 2011.

If we can get rooms for $99 a night please let me know how many rooms you would need by voting in the poll.

This does not book or guarantee you a room. It only gives me an idea of how many rooms to block off.

I only have a few days to reply so please if you think you are going take a guess and vote now if you would like to stay at the Clarion across the street from the convention center.

Luke, if you didn't check the box for one room above please do so. I don't know if you did or not and that's how I am keeping count.

What about entry? Can we get in via credentials from the website? If we attend the dinner can we get in? Do we have to get credentials from a sponsor/manufacture etc etc to get in?

Sorry, I can't help you get into the show and we won't discuss on the site any ways around it.

You are welcome to join us for dinner and dinner is totally separate from SEMA the organization.

That's cool, was wondering if it was separate. Need to ask for a favor or two from some old friends

If you have a really cool Camaro and $400.00 dollars, try finding a SEMA member Vendor who's part(s) are on it to sponsor your car. The $400.00 dollars is for and outdoor parking place. If it's a Really, Really cool Camaro, $1,200.00 dollars for indoor spot with sponsor.

Check the SEMA website for someone looking for a Car. You can also submit application to HRIA (Hot Rod Industry Aliance, political brance of SEMA) to see if you can get accepted as a Reception Car for them.

If you car is not newer than 1972 GG or 82 NSRA, a couple of good places to be seen by HRIA selection comittee are GoodGuys and National Street Rod events.
