Clayton Machine Works - New Pedal Covers and Throttle Assemblies + POLL

We just finished up development of our new pedal covers and throttle assemblies. Some of the features include molded rubbber pad inserts, removable center sections in the upper and lower arms which means you can customize to your liking or leave as is.

Each component is machined, hard anodized in either black or grey, then re-machined to achieve the highlights.

Thats where the poll comes in. We'd just like to get a feel for which color is more popular.

I don't think I could choose which I like more. Why not offer both? They both look fricken incredible!! I would be happy to have either one in my camaro if/when I can get started on it.

They both look great, but I voted grey because they match my Clayton Machine Works door handles and window cranks!

Thanks for the input...We are offering both color schemes, but I just wanted a ratio so we can have a general idea of which would be more popular.

We're working on a DBW set-up, which will more than likely include the pedal pads (for manual or automatic) and gas pedal pad only.

The manual trans "kit" which includes the throttle assembly and brake & clutch pedal covers will be around $300. The auto trans application will be slightly less.

Both look great but... why would you want to not have something so good looking to stand out? If i had these on my car I would want people to see the details. If you go with the black the details are lost. Especial on items that will not have a lot of light shining down on them.

Thanks DJ, for the input. I agree to a certain extent, as the grey is my fave. However, the cool thing about the black version, is that the machined highlghts really standout, but at the same time being very subtle.

Clay! You guys need to start making these and other parts for the 64-66 and 67-68 Mustangs. I know there isn't as many of us out there but you will not have as much competition with these part either.

Amazing these are beautiful. I do like the black quite a bit but I think inside a car the gray really would look sweet. Are these a direct bolt in install for a 2nd gen f body and when are they available?

Finally got my Clayton Machine pedals into the car.....seems the brake pedal sits slightly lower than the factory pedal, but looking at them, I assume that was done to set both pedals on the same level.
      They sure look nice.

PS - for anyone running these pedals with a replacement booster that uses a clevis/adjustable rod...you'll have to make an L bracket to adapt to the rod...the clevis isn't going to work. Pedal is set up for the original non-adjustable style push rod.

Very nice, you can't go wrong with either color, though I would probably purchase the grey. I'd like to second 70Uglybird's question and say that I'd love to see matching clutch and brake assemblies for 2nd gen F-body's.

I like them both as well, all dependent on what the color theme is for the car they are getting put into.

I voted black. The reason is quite simple, I am going with a red and black theme in and out, so in my mind they will blend in nicely and only someone paying attn would notice.
