Fantastic day in St Paul. Great times in the autocross for a rookie and then picked for a photo shoot. What an honor. This is the sprinkles on top of the cake for this build. A huge thanks to Jeff and Dale Schwartz for this chassis and Josh for the paint that has drawn so much attention to this car. Previous years people looked as they walked by, now they stop, look, and take pictures. Most don't notice the chassis until its pointed out.

Some video of today's action. Launch box is 150' then stop in a box. Best time 3.09

Autocross makes people take notice that this is not your average g body. Many many questions on suspension mods and the looks when they see the chassis is priceless. Josh has been offered several cars to paint for free, none accepted by him. Times are very respectable, best of 23.11. Jimi Day with his AMX ran in the mid 22's last I seen.

Tied for second and finished third in the Real Street Eliminator shoot out by Car Craft in the late model class. Placed 1st in the launch box, and third in the autocross. Dyno run was cut short due to a very lean condition at full throttle. Bigger injectors are needed. Thanks to Kevin from FAST for help to decipher the issues with the tune and injector sizing.

Thank you to the staff of Car Craft for the wonderful weekend and the treatment we received. I never expected to compete as well as I did and your encouragement and support ment more than you know.

Nice job, Dan! It was great seeing the car out there and running.
I have pictures and videos I'll be sending you on a dvd. I am currently uploading an autocross vid to our facebook so check it out. Sure was a crowd pleaser!

Thanks Dale. We had an amazing time. We need to get together again so you can take a spin. Time just got away from us. This chassis is amazing. Fantastic ride on the street and handle like a slot car.

More seat time today. Ran in the wet, dry, and in between. Had a moment during the in between. Built this car to drive it and this is what I'm doing. Rain or shine. We turned 400 miles going to a cruise in Friday and then adjust the Ridetechs and autocross on Sunday.

      I love this one...

It looks almost like mine, except with an extra foot of tire... Nice job!

I'm once again in way over my head, but this will be a fantastic event to attend. Jeff Schwartz set me up to attend the Sandhills Open Road Challenge at Arnold, NE Aug 8-11. I've entered the 90 mph class since I have ZERO experience with this rally style event and also safety equipment set the limit to the 95 mph class. Top speed allowed will be 120 mph. Josh will be the navigator. A big thanks to Jimi Day for letting me in. Met him at Car Craft and had a great conversation with him.

A good friend of mine saw coverage of this event on Speed Channel last spring and called me saying 'this is what you need to do with your Monte. When I contacted him Tuedays telling him of the offer he flipped. To bad he was booked and couldn't navigate.

You have no idea how lucky and fortunate you are to be in that event...I'm so jealous right now it's sick.
