      I just got email today from POR-TOURNING I'll being this up to FPCOA (FORD PERFORMANCE CLUB of ATLANTA) they are mostly Mustangs but I've 2011 SHO, at our meet the 1st tueday in Apr. and send the club Pred. this link today. by the way we are having a DYNO DAY at INJECTED ENGINEERING in Kenasaw Ga.       I'll be there, but if I don't quite have the bones ($) to race at that time I'd be happy to volunteer to help in any way I can- track duties etc.

      Just curious, what are the expected safety requirements for this? I don't have the fireproof jacket and helmet yet, just my motorcycle helmet...

      If it happens , it will have the same safety requirements as any of the American Street Car Series Events .

      It is my understanding ,

      For the slower class :
      SA2005 ( or SA2010 helmet )
      Fire Extinguisher
      At least 3-point seat belt ( with a shoulder belt , of course ) .
      Rollover protection for convertibles .

      For the faster , unlimited class:
      SA2005 or SA2010 helmet
      Fire Extinguisher
      3-point seat belt ( or better , like a 4 point or 5 point harness )
      Some sort of roll over protection for convertibles ( like a 4-point cage or better )
      A Fire Proof Jacket
      Fire Proof Gloves
      Fire Proof Shoes

      Remember , this is MINIMUM requirements , anything more is better .
