      thanks!
it is a very fun shop truck.
doesn't really fit in with the pro touring theme, so i never posted anything about it.
here's a link to the build thread on another forum.

      thanks!

the tint does take some getting used too.

i worked non stop on this truck to get it drivable, and then got back to work that makes money, instead of cost me money, and need less to say it hard to get back on it to finish it!

but i drive it everyday, and that is what is was build for.

Nice Builds. The car is going to be sweet!

And you don't see Unibody Effies built like that to often. Sweet ride!

feel off the radar on this thread for a while, so here's some updates...
been working on the cage. this will be a capable street car, so with that said, i looked and looked at different sanctioning bodies for cage rules. most are all different, and im not really building a track only car, so i originally went with 1 3/4 main bars, and downs, but i didn't care for the looks when they where tacked in. looked to massive in such a small car. messed with my eyes. so out it came and in went 1 1/2". now the cage is all 1 1/2" tubing. i know it wont pass some sanctioning but im ok with that. just have to check before we head out to an event.

decided i didn't like the way everyone smooths out the stock inner shock towers. looks too basic. i also didn't care for the stock stamped 14 gauge uni body structure, especially when you have 3/16" plate for the boxed in front tci xmember and sub frame connectors. so i boxed the uni structure with some more 3/16" plate and tied them together, adding way more strength. back to the shock towers, with the added uni body structure boxed now, i cut off the shock towers. the cage will exit the fire wall to the front, basically making it a framed car now.

stock structure. needed to cut off the flanges, when done you will have to weld back together the stock pieces first.

      all tied together

missing the shock towers, much better.

Nice build! I've seen the truck over on the HAMB, now I've seen where some of the parts came from.
