$300 is a good rule of thumb for ceramic coating headers.

I have always had my standard headers first fitted then coated by Jet Hot. They coat them inside and out and the price for long tubes is about $270+shipping. Check out their website, you can't go wrong with them.

$300 for a pair of headers is nuts, guys. Performance Coatings in Oklahoma City is as good as anyone out there and they get around $150-175 to do a pair w/guarantee.

      coating

yeah i agree, ceramic coating in new hampshire was 215 bucks inside and out with warranty, and they media blast the header inside and out then coat, they do not coat the factory coating

I just paid $300 for the entire exhaust system from the headers (that were already coated) back. So i would say that $300 for just the headers seems a little high.

Funny, the only two guys in this thread that have paid $300 to coat one set of headers are both from California. I wonder if that has to do with all the stupid EPA **** that we have to deal with.

JetHot's main facility is in Arizona. I would be upset if I was paying a premium because I lived in Calif... Shouldn't be an issue.
I paid a little under 150 for the mid-lengths on my truck a few years ago and that was with shipping.

Mark, right, but myself and the thread author used local shops.

Well, time to start shipping them to JetHot!

Hey i'm in the bay area too, there is a place in concord, called west coast coatings or something, 1 925 682 4828 I believe they charge about $225 for a set or something like that, they do a pretty good job, they did my BBC headers, of course you can always try to bargain, just make sure they polish them by hand before you take them home
