That is it..... nice use of colors, I need you for explaining things to my Congressman. He needs a simple easy to understand diagram that taxing me is NOT an investment, and guns are NOT evil, they don't even have brains. LOL Seriously though, that was what I came up for mounting the body, their may be a better, more simple way, does add weight and a lot and fabrication to the process I can tell you.

From someone who did exhaust in an earlier life, (and took his work seriously) nice work, I always had a thing for the more difficult projects...

You'll have to read this 2008 post from Ron's $5000 Mustang build.

Ron - has it really been ten years already?

Finishing up the exhaust, 3" stainless, dodging "ALOT" of obstacles was not that easy on this car. All that work and it looks so average from outside the car.

That is the sign of a true master craftsman!

And those in the know, know anything you've worked on is waaaaayyy above average.

The one time when high and tight on the cage was a bad thing. The engine is back so far, and the dash bar so tight, their was absolutely no room for wipers or linkage.

The AMX was originally equipped with vacuum wipers which was located about where the middle of the intake manifold is now.The engineering involved in making this happen was extensive. Used Fox body Mustang wiper motor because I thought it would be readily available, all the rest of the mechanism was custom. The park position was another challenge because the motor was designed for the PCM to park it.

A lot of work but the modern motor work way better then anything old.

Fantastic build, Ron. Still not doing a driver's side main hoop brace, so you could race it with any sanctioning body? I don't want to contradict your thinking over all this time, but it's your head I'm thinking about. Thanks for sharing your metal working skills and hard work!
