I love my ScreaminPerformance hood latch! When I reach in to open the hood most people have a quizzical look, then when it pops and they see an LS motor, they freak!

I know a few of you guys were asking about fitment... here are a few pics of my car with the latch.

Brian also started a Facebook page (yeah,I guess we all have to start thinking like 20-somethings!). "Like" it and see all his products there. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Scream...26630327352064

Bumping this back up to the top. Wondering if the 2nd gen version has made any progress...

      Thanks!

Are there any plans to do a second run of these? They've been out of stock forever.....

I've been waiting over a year for them to actually have one in stock for purchase. Needless to say I'm not holding my breath any longer.

OK update I am currently working on these again and should have 10 kits available in the next two weeks.
Anyone still interested in these please email me from my web page and I will start a list of first come first serve. I know there were quite a few people who wanted these and I would like to get them to guys who waited the longest.

With the move I have lost my list of people waiting so please contact me if you are interested.

      Thanks Brian

The upper latch and lower latch assembly are from an early 90's VW. I purchased these for about $18. Then purchased the lokar cable assembly for $90. I modified my stock upper and lower latch assembly to accept the VW latches & now have a fully functional cable activated hood latch for $120.

I mounted the handle flush with the dash so it's out of the way.

I've been waiting a year and a half for one from screaming performance but they never have one available for purchase. I was placed on the "two week" wait list when the message above was posted but still haven't heard anything about their availability.

Tried to attach pictures but it's not letting me for some reason.

No disrespect intended. Just letting the others that have been waiting patiently for months if not well over a year to purchase know that they can be easily made if they have a desire.

Judging by the number of private messages asking about a build thread I can tell my message was well received.

You can request the mods to remove my previous post if it violates a forum rule.

I'll start a build thread for those which are interested.
