The next big purchase for this car is a set of badass wheels and tires...I've read that these cars can run 275's up front with the right offset, and I've minitubbed the rear, so I'm looking to run 275's front and 315-335's in the rear. But before I do that I need to replace some ball joints and might adapt some bigger brakes in the front.
My car is the same chassis, but slightly different fenders. I have 18x9 with 255/40-18 on the front of my car now. Pretty sure 275/35-18 will fit easily. I currently have 18x10 with 295/40-18 in the back, but I have a LOT of clearance. I previously had 325/50-15 drag radials tucked under the back. I had to modify the front fender to clear a 26" tire on turn in. But, definitely a different fender on your car, so hard for me to say. Thanks for letting me know...nice cuda! mind me asking where you got your wheels? Are they aftermarket repro or take-offs from a challanger?

I'm thinking I have some rust repair to do around the demon once I get my garage space back, so that would be the perfect opportunity if I had to do any fender mods like you had up front.

Just popped back in here to see if I said what color grey we painted everything...I didn’t, so I’ll have to eyeball it. Putting in new brake and clutch pedals, and removing the megasquirt efi for a Holley terminator x, going to go through some other things and new wheels/ tires...I also bought a c5 corvette from kemember to play with, but that’s a pipe dream for now, I just want it back to how it used to be 5-6 years ago

Looked through the entire thread, this evening. Great looking car, and I love your persistence in building it your way. Hope you get the driveability issues worked out. Can't wait to see what you choose for rolling stock!

awesome to see youre back as well!!

I gave up on megasquirt a few weeks ago myself. went to a holley. 670 double pumper. and driving it around again today and enjoying the car again, like I did in 2015 when all my stupidity with megasquirt started....

      looking forward to watching again!
