      Operation TATA Resto Mod

Hello everyone! I will get some pics posted soon on my Tenth Anniversary Trans Am (TATA). THe car has been parked since 1996 in a field and I bout it in 2008. I have done some work to it but due to the job situation it has sat for the last year with little to no progress. I also moved and the car is still in PA. Thankfully on Sat she should be heading to the new place and I can get going on it again. The next step is floor pans and body work....get out the checkbook!

I do have one question and that is how big of a tire can I stuff under it without using tubs?

Can't answer your Question, except until the tire rubs, Haha. But welcome to the site...
A lot of killer builds on this site, and mild builds.... I am sure someone can help you...You can also try the tire/wheel section for help. Also you can start a project thread so we can watch.

Some updates for ya. Nothing too exciting. Right now the car is about an hour away from me where I used to live. Getting her ready to come home. First time it has been off of ack stands in a year and a half. The tires were off of my 92 F-150 lol

To answer the tire question, you should be able to run 255's up front and 285 or 295's out back if you nail the backspacing and trim your inner wells and bang in the seatbelt hump. Stance will have something yo do with it too.

For the rear tires you can get a 315 under the rear, but you have to have the correct rear b/s on your wheels, That I dont know off the top of my head but it would be best to measure yourself as every car is a little different

The hubs are wilwood hubs I got from PTFB. I like everything I have gotten so far from Dave, he is good just to BS with also!

      Thanks for the tire ideas!

What spindles are those? They look like cast aluminum & probably a bit less $$$ than the super trick ATS that I always wanted. Pretty cool!
