I used the evo sliders, and just welded tabs on to line up with the mounting holes on the seat pans. I also welded the bolts on so the evo seat basically installs like the stock mustang seat did.

Progress is slow as ever, but here's where things are at.
Finished welding on the top of the cage and prepped everything for the new roof.

Thigs are really going slow now as I start to work through the details. I added hydraulic lines to the pedals. all 3 pedals are all one assembly now. this should speed up the final assembly of the car after paint. the lines on the engine compartment side connect where the old brake and clutch pushrods used to pass through the firewall.

Yeah. the new steering geometry bought me a lot of room since it doesn't swing the wheel as far as the original suspension did. I will have to limit the rack and pinoin travel a little, because the rim does contact the lower a arm, even at that, I should still have a slightly better turning radius than a corvette (which isn't fantasic). if I need more turning radius I have some ideas for some modificatins I could make to the a arm to allow a little more steering.

I also still need to flare the front fenders a little (similar to the rear). hopefully it all works when I'm done.

      A few more updates:
started working on the bracing that goes between the cage and the body. here are the A-pillars.

been trying to clean the garage a little, so the hood ended up back on the car. not really productive progress, but seeing the car with all its body parts was motivating.

Starting to think about the venting on the front of the car. I'm trying to make the side vents line up the way the up curve on a boss stripe would, so I can disguise it a little, while still having a large opening to remove air from under the fenders.

......and here's the car as it currently sits. Still in mockup phase, so like I have said a few times already, it all has to be disassembled.
