Just got done reviewing your entire thread, NICE. I am also neck deep in a '70 Mustang build with a lot of similarities...

I love the 11's all the way around, that is killer. That thing is going to be a blast to take up though the canyons, or crusin' down I-15. Keep up the excellent work.

      Thanks.

I've been keeping an eye on your car. Seems like every time I finish something, you follow by doing it a little better than i did. Makes me want to go back and change a few things, but at this Point I need to keep pushing forward if I ever want to see this thing run.

Just went through your thread - Awesome build. You make it look easy. I'm sitting on an LQ9 and a '70 Fastback (originally a 302/C4 - whoop de doo). It's only a matter of time until I start on what you've already done. For the size and power output you can't go wrong with the LS as compared to a 351W/C or a bulky Coyote. Haters will hate - it's your car, build it like you want. I like how you designed the cage so that you don't see the A pillar bar from your seat and how you angled the crossbar in the door for easier in/out.

Read your whole thread, awesome work! Nice to see it coming together. Your build is making me want to go with an LS in my Demon. Keep up the great work and I hope you get your Stang back out on the road.

Just been plugging away with wiring and plumbing lately. Most of it's kind of a mess right now, but I'm getting everything laid out so I can make sure I have the right lengths on everything.

Started on the exhaust last weekend. I made it from the headers to the torque arm mount. trying to keep it tight for maximum ground clearance. so far so good.

also working on my diffuser design. the bottom of the tank already tapers upward, but I have room on each side for some deeper channels. I've even been thinking about tying the exhaust into it making it a blown diffuser. Obviously with no testing or supporting data, I have no idea if this will actually increase down force. The rear coil overs also create a bit of an obstacle for air flow. like many things on pro-touring cars, it will be more of an exercise in fabrication.

      Zach,

Looking great. I love those header clamps. Ultimate Headers?

Also, I vote you keep this car in epoxy primer and consider a wrap! The last thing you want is for this thing to be "too pretty to drive."

We can't wait to see the whole car in that sweet purplish-blue color! In the meantime, the stripped-down caged look is not disappointing, either!
