I have a commitment on Sunday, so I can't do any racing, but it's only about 50 minutes away from Austin. I'll come down for Friday's festivities as well as on Saturday to watch and hang out and bench race. Do I need to send in the $20 for the museum and dinner now or is that collected on site? Looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting some new friends!

      Update guys.

We have a new timing system that is a RFID System. It requires a credit card size piece on your windshield. No transponders for us to keep up with, just a trackside antennae. We are really looking forward to using it.

Due to poor response guys, we will only be doing cruise on Friday and Trackday on Saturday, so Sunday is open. I am hoping we can find a go-cart track somewhere close for those that need just one more thing to do.

I am a bit disappointed in the turnout so far. The up side of that is anyone that shows up should get more track time than ever. If you are on the fence about attending, this would be a great first experience for everyone.

I am bringing the Charger and then driving it to Phoenix so it will be ready for RTTC next month.
      Good times indeed.

If sunday is open I highly suggest a cruise over to the loop not far from the San Marcus area. FM 337, FM 335, & FM 336

Like Val said, if you want to join the convoy back to Phoenix, just say the word. There are 2 cars and the support truck in the group already. Same offer goes for the run from Phoenix to El Toro for RTTC.

I will be in guys. I may be towing (shhh- don't tell anyone) since I have to bring other stuff, like timing equipment/sound system.....
Albert and Brian may also tag along with us. Nothing like a roadtrip with friends.
I am open to suggestions for Sunday also.
How long does it take to get back to Phoenix? I need to plan my flight back east asap. Thinking I can be at airport tuesday morning?

Bill, your best options are either a long day in the drivers seat by driving all day Monday (14 hours give or take) or leaving mid day on Sunday, hitting El Paso and the next day have a 6 (ish) hour drive to PHX.
Whatever the case, getting on a plane Tuesday morning isn't an issue... Tom (Project92RS) has to do the same thing.

We should have some extra room in our truck as well. We aren't towing but I like to have the truck along just in case. The cars we're bringing (88 GTA and 02 Camaro) aren't exactly known for lots of space for luggage, tools, etc on these kinds of roadtrips so it comes in handy. It's also insurance for the worst case scenario of needing to tow one back

And a Tuesday flight won't be a problem unless something goes horribly wrong between San Antonio and Phoenix. Like Val said, we can make it in one long run or stop in El Paso for the night and split it into 2 not as long days of driving.

Good to hear! I have a 72 Chevelle. I'm definitely looking forward to Saturday and plan on taking pictures and videos. I'm hoping I can get some pictures of the cars in a turn or two. But I'm guessing I'll probably only be able to take shots from one area. I think I'll enjoy it either way though.

I'm heading up there w/ my kiddo and dad. Hopefully I can talk him into bringing his chevelle out but I think he's in the middle of a dash rewire and both of my projects are on jackstands.
