That would be great since Kristin did not have a sheet with my lap times, so I have no idea what they were.

So how many guys still have their number on their car? I don't want to take mine off... it'll mean the experience is over.

      Thanks George!
Above and beyond the great pictures and video the hospitality you showed all of us was through the roof! Nebraska is no longer just a state to drive through or to chasing Chevelle parts cars, it is now a destination for our travels. Debbie and I look forward to seeing you and the other great residents again in the future. Remember, you're always welcome at our place near Indianapolis.

I sorted thru hundreds of photos last night Steve and didn't see one but I'll look again. Maybe a pretty girl walked by and distracted Chad right when you were doing your burn out.

That would certainly be a valid excuse!

Hey, I was annoying enough that I got "the powers" to agree to let me do a small story on the SORC.. gotta get the word out on this super cool event.

The optima Power Summit-2011 Sandhill Open Road Challenge was an awesome experience. I cannot thank Cam and the optima team members enough for organizing an event that will be burned into my cortex forever, thank you Optima! Some random thoughts from my trip are:

Cumming, GA to Arnold Nebraska is one long ass ride…worth every atomic mile.
America is awesome…especially open headers on the freeway in a 67 Camaro.
Howell may be team racing smurf….mmm?
Blackberry’s and cell phones are over rated.
The Bacardi bus ride is worth the trip it self
One wrong turn in Kansas and you may not find Toto, right Parsons "Shepard"?
Sandhills Open Road Challenge is a must do…that’s if you’re not scared of speed.
AC/DC is always good when you have another 3 hours of driving due to road closings.
Driving with racing helmets on the open freeway is a new Federal law.
When one is hungry one may eat their breakfast off a cow-patty.
Your newest best friend may leave you for a “Penny.”
Chicken fried steak can soothe the soul…just ask Goldberg.
That George Anderson and Bert Wright are #1 in my book.
David Sloan…”Blue or Soldier Man” is certainly a stop watch wizard, a fricken genius!
Check out a few pics of the trip…. again to all those I shared the experience, you are the best! Thank you for everlasting memories, a million dollar experience!
