Definitely the best time I've ever had at an event, even with the radiator expiring on the El Camino. Thanks to Bill, George, Joe, and optima for the invite. Congrats to Brad. Thanks to Adam Ryan ( my navigator ) for the fantastic job he did, we would of had something for you guys if we hadn't broke he had us within 8/10 of sec of a perfect time on the first leg. Goldberg sorry I missed the bracelet event but I was preoccupied trying to get the car back to town, I truely enjoyed the conversation Friday night in the motorhome with you, Finch, and Bill.

Got the results from the SORC open road deal. We placed 7th in our group and as Shane and I both thought, our stopwatch malfunction deal in the first leg killed us. We thought we were a half to one second slow, but we were really over 5 seconds slow! We targeted our return trip to be slightly faster, but since we didn't know our time we were doomed. But, I will say that Shane hit our target time o...n the return almost dead on, only missing it by .02 seconds. In fact we had the "closest to perfect" second leg time. If we knew our first leg time we would have done way better.. but you know how those "ifs" are. Overall we missed our 91mph target speed by 0.225mph which isn't too shabby at all! To be honest all I want to do is go back and run that damn road again!

Yeah, we weren't really that close. Our iPhone app had significant lag time. A stopwatch is the way to go.

Here's the half mile deal.. GoPro died so I didn't get my best run of 148.9 mph..

Pretty happy with that speed at that altitude.

I am working on that John. Kristin with optima got the list from George, but he is working on getting me another copy. Trouble is, he only has transponder numbers, not who had what transponder. I know you were second though.

I did the Big Bend Road Race in 2010. What an experience for sure. It makes reading threads about this racing even more exciting.

Bill I think there is a correlation of the car #'s to transponder #'s, my car # was 8 and the transponder # was 508.

You are right Tim, but I don't know the list of car numbers at Hastings. I was 11. I should have something tomorrow we can post and figure out.
