Me thinks it's time to start working on the fuel tank soon Chad. Better sooner than later.

Will you current tank still fit with the mini-tub?

My Stock tank is still in and fits. I guess there could be a question of cutting the corners because I definitley want full tails but we won't know that for a bit. I'm happy to lug my RockValley tank up to your place for measurments/opinions anytime after I move at the end of the month lol.

      Nice Rick!!

I finally have an update! There has been huuuuuge delays in getting wheels for my car. I got caught up in the Fikse disaster and switched to Forgeline. Sadly, I got caught up in another disaster with them, so they were nearly two months late also. All said and done it has taken me 6 months to get my new wheels, which are scheduled to arrive at the shop tomorrow. With the wheels I will be able to finally order my custom width 12 bolt.

In the mean time all the old parts are out:

Front sub frame and most of the torque arm parts are powder coated chassis black. Front sub is bolted in with the LS3, trans and headers.

Crazy busy week at work this week so I won't actually get to go see the car in person until next week :( Very interested to see how some of this has turned out in person.

Was thinking the exact same thing! lol

Exciting build - hope the wheel fiasco works out. Personally I always really liked your old wheels on your car but personal choice is just that and nothing more.

      Thanks guys.

The car is sitting on big screw jacks that allow you raise and lower it a pretty good amount.

I went and looked at the car today. I F*cking hate dealing with custom stuff!!!!!!!! The wheels finally arrived yesterday and the backspacing is wrong on the rears and the pad is super thick so there is pretty much no lip. I don't know anything about pad thickness. I went back and looked at my invoice from Driverz Inc and sure enough it says "full pad." Kills the lip of the wheel though. I'm guessing the backspacing is wrong on the fronts because it looks like the backspacing I was orginally told was the opposite front and rear....

6 months to get custom wheels and hating them will ruin your day for sure.

Paid a little visit to vaporworx and Fab53 today. With Carl and Brett's help I will be retrofitting a never used EFI Rockvalley stainless steel tank to use the 5th gen camaro pump. Will be a hell of a lot more $$ than just throwing a vette adapter on mu current baffled EFI tank but should give me a full tank of gas to work with at track days instead of ~3/4

Sucks about the wheels!! But the car looks amazing and probably will drive like nothing other!! What kind of power you think you will put down and what kind of tvs kit did you get? the 3" drop or the 2" drop because I bought the two inch and am wondering if mine will settle down more in the future after driving it a bit

Thanks Randal. V1.0 was basically equivalent to the Hotchkis TVS kit of that time. I did the 2" drop springs in front and the 1.5" in the back. The first pic on page 1 is the car with 16" wheels and low miles. I couldn't find a good pic but here is the 1.0 version of the car with 17" wheels and around 10K miles on it:
