Hey Jeff, I've been dying in this heat! Is there any shade around the track? If not, how about some ezups? I've got one from my mx days, although I'm not sure that it will fit in the back of my Mustang. Anyway I'm really looking forward to 2 days of autoxing. This is gonna be great!

There is some shade by the trees on the west and southern end of the course. Also, the auction building has a covered awning where a lot of us set up chairs. I'll have my ezup tent there with our stuff, and probably will have a few cold waters or gatorade's. I suggest everyone bring a small cooler with ice and some drinks to stay hydrated.

Jeff, not sure I can fit it in, but would I be allowed to bring my shop fan and an extension cord to plug in to the building?

Thanks for the info Sparky. There's only one place hotter than a parking lot in the summer, and I don't think they have cars there. ;-)

You forgot to armour-all the steering wheel. I'll make sure to do that for you when you get here, lol.

I'm ready! Tightened up some nuts and bolts on the inside to remove some rattles (for spouse approval since we're driving the IROC up in the morning), washed it, checked the air in the tires, and did one last once over before taking a test drive. Big improvement! I can't wait for tomorrow - big fun!! I even bought Harry's Laptimer to play with and record my runs.
