      Everybody ready?

Is everyone ready for next weekend? I'll only be there on Saturday, but I've still done a ton of maintenance work to my IROC to get it ready. I even found a couple things I didn't know were wrong and got them fixed. I just have to get the toe-out set. With that done it should be all good. :-)

I'm still having some fuel issues...just MIGHT get them worked out before Friday. But it runs in first gear well. Which is good for our little track. Got one of my buddies coming down Thursday night to help diagnose.

But I'm SO ready to get out there and run some. I don't know about you guys...but I might return to redtop after the show Saturday and get in about 150 more laps before heading home. I just love flogging this truck!!!

Way too much to do on it and it needs tires.

'79 T/A will not be attending. Carb or fuel pump issues. Won't feed the 4-barrel for more than a second before falling on it's nose.

Adjusting the parking brake on those rear disc brakes is a real PITA... still haven't gotten good pedal yet.... no air in the lines, though.

So..... the '06 GTO with air conditioning and 25 mpg on the cruise down there is starting to look like the favored choice for me.
But the '73 Vega isn't completely out, yet. It's completely stock except for the HEI ignition, '77 5-speed and steel sleeved block. .... NO A/C....

'81 Turbo Trans Am - completely stock
      '72 Vega Kammback - 215 cubic inch Aluminum V8

I know I'm looking forward to it! Mine should be ready after today - getting the toe-out set per David Pozzi's recommendations. It's my first time driving my IROC doing something like this!

Still not ready...shop couldn't get my car on their new alignment rack. The alignment tech is supposed to be making some longer wooden ramps to get it up on the rack tomorrow (I hope!). Ug...

Thinking about it I probably need to change the oil in mine too... There's always something!
