Bearing clearances...
What main and rod clearances should I be shooting for with the following :
383 SBC, single turbo, street/strip/cruising, approx 900hp.
Looks like the crank I bought has been overly polished on the mains, and I'm looking at .0038 - .0042 clearances. looks like i will need to get the mains reground to .010 under.
My rods are at .0022 - .0025 , so should be OK.1965 Buick Skylark

On the mains I usually shoot for .0024 - .0027 on the front four with maybe .0028 - .0032 on the rear main. Your rods look great, the mains are looser than what I'd recommend.
