1980 Trans Am Inday Pace Car

I have a 1980 Trans AM indy pace car that I may sell. It has 89000 original miles on the body but the original 4.9 is gone and it now has a 403 Olds in it with a 400 turbo. The car is super solid with no rust. Rear valance, floor pans, frame rails are all excellent The paint is in very good shape and really straight. It does however need some touch up on the nose where it was bumped and flaked it and top of the fender and hood, but this will be fixed for the sale price. The interior is in nice shape as well. The car is solid running and driving, the doors shut easy and it has t-tops. I really want to keep the car but either this or my regal has to go. The 83 Regal is also posted on here. Yes it is. I am painting the nose on it this weekend but I do have someone interested in my regal so if it goes first I will keep the Trans Am.

I have seen your dart on the list and on here. I figure it would go quick. I have posted both of my cars on craigslist and get some real winners trying to make offers and never see my stuff in person. Good luck with your sale.

I like the old dart myself but my son would kill me, he really wants me to keep the trans am. I am just gonna shoot to take the regal down to the forge in the fall and sell it and keep the trans am. Its such a nice car and I cant duplicate it for what I am selling it for. I can duplicate the regal anytime down the road but a rock solid T/A is getting hard to find.

I would like to have the dart but I am going to have to sell the trans am straight out due to me haveing issues in the head...lol. I went out and bought a G8 this weekend with the stipulation with the wife that I sell my t-type, trans am and Lincoln LS and I can start another project after those are sold. Just in case the regal and ls sell first, how much difference would you be talking...you can send a offer to my inbox just for sh*ts and giggles because I like a pro tour dart myself and I am a body guy so that parts easy...

Thats funny, you are right. I sold this trans am back in the summer and is in Texas now. I got rid of my toys for a red G-8 GT and am enjoying it right now but hope to build something else soon.

That's cool. I like those G8's a lot. There is a new shop in Georgetown In called Unleashed performance that specializes in LS cars, they can do a lot of stuff to your G8. They are doing a few turbo builds right now on a 78 Trans Am, a newer mustang and a C5 vette.
