Fabbing alt bracket and guage panel?

I want to fab an alternator bracket to see if I can, and a panel for 4 Auto Meter accessory gauges. I think the gauges are the larger 2 13/16th size. To put over the center dash panel.

Any tips on materials? Would HEIM joints help for the alternator mount?

The gauge panel could be made of just about anything, ie. fiberglass, steel, aluminum & etc. I like building accessory brackets out of stainless steel, but you could use aluminum or mild steel also. If you can draw it water jetting is cheap. Good Luck!

If you want to go the water jet/burn table route and don't have modeling software Id be glad to make a model for you and send you the file, it would only take a few minutes.
