We ended up buying a lot to build on in Grapevine, part of the slow progress on the Falcon is due to diverting funds for a down payment on the new house. We really like Grapevine, not nearly the "attitude" of Southlake.

Birds of a feather! We've very in love with Grapevine as well but the inlaws keep comparing it to Southlake area. We're looking to either get 5+ acres with a mobile on it to tear down so we at least have utilities to the property or finding something that is 5 bedrooms with a sizable shop for the business on the property.

Our Falcon will go up for sale this year to get that down payment as well. Just have to knock out the new bumper builds on it before I can put the time into finishing it off and getting it on the chopping block. Ah, cars... business... family... homes... the fun things in life.

Any progress? Stumbled across this thread when checking out the "lets see some Falcons" posts. Very very cool.

I wish, but nope still collecting dust in the garage. Our new house build (which is why the project is on a bit of a hold) is still slowly moving forward. It has been a long time, my 8 year old son is on my case to "start working on the Falcon again dad!" I think he wants to make sure it is ready by the time he is 16.

Need to change my profile, we moved back to Texas in June 2014. Right now living in a rental in Grapevine (with only a builder size 2 car garage) but we are working to build our dream home over on the boarder of Grapevine and Colleyville. It will have a 4 car garage + a shop.

Life does have a habit of getting in the way. Great job so far and good luck with the house build. Just remember though, you can sleep in a car but you can't drive a house.

I would have better luck getting my house to drive than getting my wife to sleep in the Falcon.

Your welcome over anytime, no matter if I am working on it or not. The car is sitting in the garage uncluttered. Let me know sometime when you have a few free hours to roll on over to Grapevine, beers on me. And yes, it is way farther along than when you last had a look at it.

I would like to see some pictures of your car with the ET wheels. The pictures in your thread must have dead links. Can you post some or PM any? What sizes are you running?

Sorry, been away for a bit as we are deep in the process of building a new house. Project unfortunately has been on the back burner. I guess my old photo hosting site must have timed out or something and the images are no longer linked. What free photo hosting site is everyone using? I can set up an account and throw up some old and newer pictures.

As for the ET wheels, i have 18x8 up front with a 245 tire and 18x11's out back with a 315 tire. The rears were a very custom build and cost me a fortune compared to the fronts. I love the look and they fit the car perfectly, especially with the very low stance.

Cool!! I'm really liking the style of this car. The hood scoops and wheels really got my attention.

Thanks, yes I absolutely love the way the hood scoop turned out. Especially since I have never done anything like this before, allot of trial and error. The good thing is that I managed to get it symmetrical.

The hard part now walking past it every day in the garage and no progress being made. It is killing me to see it in paint but that is a long way off. If I leave the garage door open for any amount of time on the weekends I have random people stop by and want to chat about it. At first glance many think it is a Mopar of some sort because of the hood.

Fingers crossed the new house is complete before the end of the year and then I can dive head on back into the project. (If my wife does not spend every penny we have on the new house.)

      Great looking car!
I always preferred the earlier more rounded model but you nailed looks on this one.

Looks great! Good job on the scoops. Thanks for posting up some pictures. Do you recall how much back spacing you have in the front?

Don't recall off hand on the back space. It was pretty extreme as the fronts have basically no lip.
