      watts link

      started building a simple watts linkage to see how it changes cornering attributes on my camaro, I will try to make it easily removable for quick testing, here is some quick dirty art

      I looked at that post Bryce, and those are some pretty fancy digital drawings of a watts link!! I used an analog plotter (pencil) myself

      basic idea on propeller also still looking at different styles for the cage, but I like the angular V drop that was a second idea


      and looking at simplifying the part

      start of the watts link cage

      after finally deciding on the shape, I picked up some steel square tube to start with and started by crawling under the car and measuring the frame rails and looking at the mounting area and started with the top bar width, then made a simple center bracket to hold the propeller

      You should lengthen your links on your watts link. The bell crank should be closer to 90* to the link at ride height.

      Bryce you are correct that was an old pic (sorry) I was trying to show the frame. I had to order longer rods.
