      vortech v-3 si-trim

      what are your guys opinions on this setup? im thinking about buying it soon. i will be running a methanol kit and 750-800cfm carb.-Dom

      Seems like a decent kit. the first thing I would throw out would be the carb hat. I would go with an EV hat or SMRE. It will help out tremendously with AFR's and also help increase HP.

      If you have the underhood space, you could change out the carb hat, but I doubt anyone here has tried that new hat yet, so don't throw it away automatically. I have been very happy with my Vortechs over the years. Started with an S-trim, upgraded to a T-trim and now have a YSi.

      They carb hat seems like it will be better with throttle bodies.
