Planning ahead before I run over to Ace Hardware for some fittings as the one's that are supplied are useless.

So the Earl fitting that I happened to have looked like it was going to work. However, It did not as it hit the valley cover.

Last one for the night Upgrading to a Waterproof Relay ( 10-31-22 )

Way back somewhere in this thread I installed Painless fan relay and I screwed up and didn't order a standard fan relay. So I ordered a new Water Proof Fan Relay kit.

Wow, you got a ton done.

On the battery switch, only one is necessary but if you wanted two it wouldn't hurt anything. It would save having to re-run the positive wire since it looks like it would no longer reach the battery without the switch. But, I would run one on the negative side because ECMs are far more sensitive to having the plus side opened than anything else on the car would be.

Thank you for the quick reply as I am not sure I have it in me to redo the battery wire again. However, I might have to redo the ground wire as it may be to long now.

On a side note I still have about 20 more posts to do this week.

What should have been a simple project ( 11-14-21 )

What should have been a simple pan swap turned out to be a no go.

Since the current pan on the new transmission from Atomic was a standard depth I ordered a stock depth pan
as I didn't want the pan to hang down and lower then it was. Well this one didn't works so I guess at some point
      I will order another one.

      Yes, I know this is overkill ( 11-14-21 )

I think I am going to rename this car to Project Overkill

Once again I am taking the passenger side header off so I can get to the wiring at the starter.

      Wiring toolbox ( 11-14-21 )

So the other day I was looking at all of the tools I have collected for wiring this car and I thought I would share pictures of my tool box that is completed dedicated to wiring. So when the car is done it will be going back to my warehouse.

I need to widen this rectangular hole so the fuel line can pass through this opening safely.

I am still trying to figure out if I am going to secure the line to the firewall or just let it hang from the fuel rail. Which doesn't sound good as I type this.

This is the final AN fitting that I need to finish the fuel line.

      ARP Battery Bolts ( 11-25-21 )

I am not a fan of battery bolts and I really like ARP bolts. Since Rad Rides uses them on their builds I might as well use them on my car.

Apparently the bolt got a little warm.

I ran the bolt all the way in to make sure it wasn't to long. Eventually I will order the correct bolt.

I think it’s Project Perfection. I’ve learned a lot watching this thread.

That said, I think we would all love to hear that engine hum and exhaust rumble by February.

I think Overkill is the perfect name!

Having failed tech inspection at a track once many years ago for a pressure regulator bolted to the firewall, I will mention that sanctioning bodies are picky about the possibility of fuel lines being cut by debris should something break through the bell housing from a clutch/convertor or whatever. So if you can keep your fuel lines out of the direct line of shrapnel in flight it'd be safer.
