2nd Chance Camaro - Let the Project Begin

I re-installed the WMC optima battery tray so I could work on the wiring going to the Battery.

Before I started working on the battery terminal wiring I need to run to the auto parts store.



On my way home I stopped at McDonalds for a McFlurry.





Since wires tend to have strong memory so I made sure the ring terminal was on in the correct orientation.





I am still amazed at the amount of tools used on every project.

Well, I am certain everyone has lost instruction for something. This time I lost the instruction for the DSE Wiper wiring
harness and no one at DSE could find a copy of it for me as it was there Gen I kit. After weeks of searching I finally found
it so today is the day that I will finish that project.

















I added a line clamp to the steering column bolt. However, I am going to have to drill and tap these so I can use a nut to anchor these.

So everything from here forward should be final install which is awesome as I really want to start this car.



Jay at Pro-Tek Powder coating does such an incredible job powder coating yet I am still amazed at how nice stuff looks when it comes back from him.







Of course the I had to write myself another reminder note.







I did at a tiny bit of RTV on the bolts holes just to prevent and water seepage.



So I picked up a new toy and some animal crackers.

I picked up a Element Fire Extinguisher which will be mounted to the cross bar on the Tiger Cage.

I was in need of a couple simple projects as work has been really busy lately.







I also tracked down a roll cage bracket for the Element Fire Extinguisher.

Out comes the passenger side header







Out with the old.

Next up is the installation of the Vintage Air unit and relocating the valve to the inner fender so it will be easier to service if needed.

So up to the garage attic I go and it's starting to empty.



This is the valve I will be relocating.



Since the valve was located in the interior I need to extend the wires out to the inner fender.

I need to enlarge the middle hole to 1/2" so somehow I was able to make a close to perfect circle with a dremel tool.



My buddy Jimmy stopped by to check on the progress and show me the new exhaust he built.

About a year ago Tobin from Kore3 Brakes sent me the new brake lines and I finally decided to install them.
