You should be, he's a good kid from what I've seen. He's easily influenced though

I'm thinking that when Sam does get around to working on it and updates this thread, we're all gonna be blown away!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! The car did have more to give, but I was just driving to learn and have a good time.

As for the 67 we are starting to make a little more progress, and have been gathering alot of parts . We sold the old powder coated frame, and are starting on a fresh one. The new frame is at the dipper, and as soon as we get it back we will start to install the ABC frame channeling kit. I will post pictures as we start installing it.

Aaron I may be easily influenced, but it was your bad influence that made me do it.

Sam and I went to Redi-Strip in Indy to pick up our frames today. Lots of work ahead installing the ABC Performance mini-tub kits to both frames. We had them dipped in order to get all the gunk out before boxing them. We hate the thought of having bare metal inside the rails, but that is the way they came from the factory and lasted this long, so they should be good with our soft use. Ha!

If you leave those frames like that they will multiply.......like rabbits.

Dipping is the way to go, powdercoat will get inside those rails if the bare metal keeps you awake at night.

Mini-tubs will be sweet. It's more awesome that your doing it to the 66 also!!

Are you using the widened ABC inner halves or are you just widening your existing inner's? I look forward to the pics!!

We're using the ABC inner halves on the 66 and Sam's 67. We just started working on the 66 frame and Sam's will be next.

A little progress on the four door. We had the doors dipped, and powder coated with sealer. We wanted to get them sealed up inside and out so powder coating seemed like the best method. When we're ready to start on the rest of the body we will scuff the doors and put them in the same sealer as everything else.

They kind of match the house.

We were amazed at how great they looked after they were dipped. Not a single pin hole anywhere. A few dings, but nothing too serious!

How many cars did it take to find 4 good doors?

This is actually the complete set that came on the Kansas car that we're using. You've seen the rest of the car, it is all pretty nice.

Lets hope the rest of the car is as solid as we think.
