I payed $650. I chose these for what you get with these gauge compared to what you can fit in the stock dash.
I did not like the Covans style it looked unrefined plus it cost the same or more depending on gauges.

I worked on the upper door/quarter panels last night.
Covered them with a carbon/cloth/vinyl. Thought they might look cheesy at first but they actually turned out ok.

I'll have to get the holes milled in the rotor hats to fit the studs.

      No time soon.
I need 18" wheels to clear those brakes.
I've also decided that it will be even longer cuz now I want to mini tub it.

Well if mini-tubs are in your future, does this mean swaping out the leaf springs for a different rear suspension?

      365 tdy

I got tagged for a 365 deployment today, so now I have some thinking to do.

After this deployment we will be PCS'ing(moving) to another state. This should be my last and I retire 2 years after I return.
I have not had any time or spare $$ to even touch the car the last 6mo... New addition to the family and the best lil' girl in the world.

So I'm thinking of selling some or all of this project so I can start with either a clean slate (strip car of all/some parts)and a better vision of what I want in the end or sell completely.

What I want from this project and is making me think these thoughts are:
      • LS1 motor is becoming dated
      • I'd like to fit some real meat in the rear 315.... mini tub
      • More tire in front 275/35-18...notch the stock sub and mode the inner fenders or new sub
      • Roll bar
      • It's not a 6spd
      • 14" rotors are over kill
      • Lose the leafs, get a TQ arm or 4 link
      • 8.5 rear will work but not sure who makes a TQ arm that will fit it
      • It's black and I don't want a black car anymore

      Still needs
      • Wheels
      • A arms
      • All brake lines
      • Replace side glass that has 45 years for scratches
      • Door panels
      • Stereo

      What I have:
      67 Camaro
      • Z28 steering box
      • 01 LS1 w 50-60k and auto
      • Autokraft pan
      • Stainless exhaust
      • Stainless fuel line
      • Rick's tank with Walbro
      • Dakota gauges
      • BMW leather seats
      • new ft/rear glass
      • New paint

      Parts
      • Carl C's rear leafs
      • ATS spindles w/studs
      • Rear DSE Koni's
      • C5/6 Wilwood 14" ft & back
      • Kore3 rear brackets

      Thoughts?
Sometimes I think I should not have sold the Chevelle

O yea the wife is curently deployed for 6mo. FML

The Camaro is a clean and solid platform, and might be difficult to replace at a later date especially if you move to the rust belt. If the drivetrain isn't your utimate package, strip the car and just keep the part you know you'll want later. (gauges, seats and ATS spindles)

keep the car, drag it with you or put it in storage, reset your plan for the car, create a build plan, cheaper to store it than find another 12-15 thousand dollar starter car, prices only go up on 1st gens

I will be putting them in as soon as I find a affordable bezel, mine is missing the corners.
But I can at least start the wiring.

Sucks man - would you store it in Nevada or upstate NY?

I know in the past you have towed cars across the country.

Where are you going to be station at?

So I have since moved to Colorado on the Gov's dime one year ago, the Camaro came with us along with 2 horses, and 2 24' Budget trucks(and this was just the Garage and barn items)
The car sat unwashed and covered with road grime for most of this time, I'm retiring from the Air Force in about 1.5 years and I though I would sell the Camaro since I have not done a thing with it, so I posted it on Craigslist. The potential buyers wanted to see up to date and clean pictures.
I had time to wash it and that is when I realized I need to at least finish and drive it.
So it's now sitting without the rear end, I picked up a 73 8.5 well I was in Vegas and I'm now building it to but back under.
I still need to get new mounting brackets and gears for it.
I had to get a new ECM as the original would not read the MAP sensor which sucks because I has Mike Norris tune that ecm and he actually found the problem along with a vacuum leak…… this was after 2012 SEMA when I was still in Vegas.
I also now have most of the interior parts except the dash pad and rear deck corner moldings.
I hope that by next weekend I will have the tank flushed the car running to make sure that the new ECM is good to go

I have the spare sub-frame all welded and painted along with mounting the tubular A-arms, Bilstein shocks, ATS spindles and 14" Wilwoods.
I'll reuse the center link and the steering box from the old frame everything else is new.
I put this in after I finish the rear

My new little helper in the shop.

And this is where all my time and money has gone
