      Looking good!

And keep the cougar threads coming...reading through them all is getting me motivated to start tearing down the '69 that's been sitting in the garage for the past year.

andrewb70: Your '67 build thread was a damn good read!

      coilovers after thought

I did a heidts front suspension then decided to change to coilover but not mount points so more fabwork needed and ended up with 2.25id coilovers with multi height adjustable .Also noticed air intake tube hole was too low had to raise it up to clear the wheel more welding and painting

4link setup for that protouring cougar look and function With the front end done time to setup rear diff and get welding done I had setup the car on my Wedge Clamp frame straightening equipment and was able to use the measuring tools and square up the diff and locate the brackets that had to be welded.I stayed with the ford 9" just added 3.5 posi also added rear sway bar and disc brakes.

      pro touring cougar look

Getting the right stance was a chore I wanted the car to have a certain look I wanted to slam it at first but realized it wouldn't be practical since I plan to using it as a DD and if you look at the car on the side you notice the bottom of rocker panel sits quite high visually because of the way car was built frame rails and convertible seat supports sits much lower to the ground so I ending up setting the front crossmember at 6"
