My small part in all the fun....
So Larry got in touch to see if I could help out with the festivities. Turns out the camera crew needed a chauffer for the parade from the convention center to the Silverton and I said yes pretty quick. After connecting with the crew and getting the cameras bolted up in the back of my truck, we lined up and took off down Las Vegas Blvd...

It was pretty cool seeing all the cars I've read about here and seen in pics actually hauling a** down the street!

I tried to get some good shots @ the Silverton before the road rally, but some guy kept walking around right in front of the camera! Somebody oughta track him down and speak to him...
