Not sure how to define my project old Trans Am series
didnt realize there was so much interest in this style of build till I discovered this forumn, so here I am, proud owner of my second early a body, Dodge a body that is, 1965 Dart, a project car, a way to put many years of stock car racing behind me, something new and exciting, wasnt quite ready to quit racing just yet....
simple project, 1965 Dodge Dart trans am series looks from the late 60's early 70's
and this is what i started with a nearly rust free Dart

slowly but surely we are making progress on the Dart, simple project, make it do everything well, time will tell if we can pull it off, here a few pics so far

its a beginning, RMS front and rear suspension, Wilwood front and rear brakes, grand national Ford 9 inch, nodular and gold track, R3 race block, 4.1 inch stroke to a 444 cid, Scat crank & rods, JE pistons, twin vgt turbos.....oh forgot 6 speed Tremec, the seats are out of 08 Charger R/T, plenty of roll cage, no ac, basic heat, a good sound system just because momma wants one....not much more, target weight of 2900 lbs,
245-45r17 up front and 305-35r18's in the rears....

As far as how to define it? Bitchen comes to mindLife is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming 'WOW What a Ride!'
