Good Guys in Ft. Worth (Pics)

Was planning on going tomorrow, but my awesome wife said we could go today

      And TOMORROW!

Got a few pics, and there is a BIIIIIIIIG OUUUUUUCH at the bottom!

      The Bondo Bus!

      Cool, but expensive art

Even better in motion, but awesome parked.

I think this Mustang has a higher ground clearance than my FJ

      OMFG beautiful, beautiful GTO!

Coolest mod trailer I have ever seen!

      And for the OUCH...

      get your kleenex ready...

We came up on the road course right as we saw the Roadster Shop's 70 Chevelle go up in smoke!

Turns out, he went through the chain link fence at the edge of the course, and the smoke I saw from a distance was actually the fence bending around the left front of the car.

I'll have some more pics up tomorrow when we get back.

Wow that must have happened late. I left the autocross about 3:00 and it was still in one piece.

Went back out today and got to talk with Hector from Ricks (really nice guy) and got to oogle at the vaporworx. Met with some of the guys from Detroit Speed and ridetech as well. Saw a bunch of cars, and wanted to smack a bunch of people on their rented little rascals!

sorry for the partialed pics, but those damn little rascals were everywhere, and people were jumping in front of the camera!
      Had to be quick!

and it looks like The Roadster Shop met with Ricky Bobby!

That is an honorable war wound. It's still not fun to deal with it, but far better than sitting in a rocking chair late in life saying I wish I had beat it like a rented mule when I as younger.

Is anybody else hoping (just a little bit) that maybe they'll change the color...?

I was there and I think the car ran its self into the fence for a color change.

Too bad it didn't go over some speed bumps too and rip off the ground effects. I heard the vendors are getting pretty crazy in the autocross all weekend! I can't wait for spring.

I forgot to put the memory card in my camera, again, so all I took were theses cruddy phone pictures.

This Camaro and the following Chevelle were my favorite cars. Both are very understated and appear pretty purpose built...not overdone at all, and nothing I'd be afraid of driving the snot out of!

Very cool to see in person after seeing the build here!

      Another cool Olds

Thanks for the pictures! there was such a good turnout we never got to walk around and see the cars.

Everyone is impressed after meeting Hector at Ricks, they are GREAT guys. We have shared booth space recently at other shows, and we had their tank in the Chevelle chassis in our booth. It is a true joy to do business with those guys.

I love the color... Especially being a "shop car" to show off your products... Everyone will remembers the Green Chevelle.. If it was red, black or almost any other color you would have to ask which one??

I really liked this car. Simple and clean.

Me and my friend saw it driving by earlier in the day and had to track it down. The Cragars with the redlines and the stance were perfect. After seeing the engine I figured there were some pretty serious internals. Robert's got a bad ass Olds!

It was great talking to you on Sunday , Jesse, I am looking forward to seeing that Chevelle finished at the Spring Good Guys back here at TMS !

I really loved the C2 Vette with the LS9 in it and all of the bare carbon fiber inside and on the body !

I hear ya..but...THAT green isn't to my liking. It's not my car and as long as the owner loves it, that's all that is important.

...but if it was that new Camaro green, it'd be cooler IMO..!
