Will Ford 8.8 IRS half shafts fit c5 hubs

Im looking to put c5 irs in my car but would rather not run the transaxle. The ford 8.8 looks like a good option because it is strong, cheap and has many interchangable parts. I do have a gto irs that has 3.42 gears stock as I understand it but other gear options are very pricey not to mention it would need custom axels for sure.
So what I am getting at is the ford shafts have a splined end that fits into the hub is this compatable with the c5 hub. If you know anyone who has done this it would sure be a lot of help

There is information on using the Ford 8.8 in the late GTO. Might be something helpfull here.
