      Danny Popp,Todd Rumpke,Brian Couch,Mark Strong

I just want to say thanks to our new friends Danny Popp , Todd Rumpke , and Brian Couch .
They are the guys that came down from Ohio to help with the Autocross and to give us free instruction.
( And they came down on their own dime )
And thanks to our longtime member Mark Strong.
These guys were great drivers !

Danny had a blue '72 Vette.
      Todd had a yellow C6 Z06.
      Brian had a '96 Camaro.
      Mark had the RX8.

All were prepped to the gills for autocross.
Thanks for the pointers guys !!

I didn't realize who we were dealing with 'till I got home Sunday and did some internet surfing .
      Wow !!
      Danny can drive !!
      And he's a NASA winner ..

Check out this intense video :

and this one from the autocross on Saturday :

If you’re suggesting sending men with weapons of war to take my weapons of war, then I’m fairly certain that’s what’s called an act of war… and the definition of tyranny.which coincidentally is the reason for the second amendment to begin with!

I would like to thank this group of guys too. I learned a ton, just by following these guys around while they were walking the course during setup. What a great group of guys. I'm hoping to hook up with them at some local AutoX's in the Cincinnati area.

Mark Strong rode with me twice and gave me some pointers ..
Like , downshifting takes time , and if the front tires are scrubbing , you can twitch the steering wheel a bit to regain traction ..
      That really helped me .
