      I need someone who realy knows his electrical stuff.

      Will a RPM activated switch be able to read the signal from a hall effect switch like this one.

      Hall effect style sender, 16 pulse per revolution



      The Sum-830450 rpm switch claims it will read under 30V signals but Im not sure if it will read square wave??


      Nothing says "I built this" better than tool marks and dykem blue..

      It should work fine with a square wave input. Generally sine wave inputs are squared up before being applied to digital logic anyway.

      thank you. I want to build a speed opperated switch and this hopefully looks like a solution with out spending $190. That system looks almost like the parts I posted. lol
