New 67 Chevelle in Northern CA
Hey guys, just taking a minute to intro my self and my car. Ive been hanging out referencing the site as a guest for a while as I've been working on my car and decided i might as well become part or the team. Always been a truck guy who liked cars and decided it was time to build my dream car, a 1967 Chevelle. I sold my show truck and felt now is the time to do it. Now I'm not into OEM or stock so don't plan on an original rebuild or clone car... its going to be a Pro Touring car from the word go.
So, 5 months ago i bought a car well rather a shell and frame but thats was what I wanted figuring I was not going to re use any stock parts. Lesson learned on that on but atleast I saved money at first. Since then I have managed to have the body blasted and primed, almost all rust repair is complete and minimal body work left to do. Frame have been blasted, boxed, gusseted, and braced. Engine and tranny (LS1&4L60E) are resting in there new home and getting ready to start on the suspension next.
I look forward to building my car and watching everyone else build their's.....
