      1979 Chevy Luv "Red Rider"

Well I just got a Luv. Pulled it out of a junkyard, and got it home put a battery and some fresh gas in it and fired right up Well then a bunch of wires crap out on me, got those fixed and a few things dun and now starts up and drives fine. For rite now I am just getting it road worthy, but after I want a 5 lug conversion, cowl hood and just a few little things. If the motor ever blows, I want to do a 2.3 Ford Turbo, or I have a 400 Pontiac on the stand that would be nasty in this truck I will get pics later today or in the morning cause I know

      I'm interested...

Go with a 5.3 LS motor - all aluminum to keep the weight down. Then put some nice brakes up front and out back. You'll have a corner carver in no time.
