      newbie 68 firebird convertible

Hey guys, Im new to this site. im from vancouver, bc, canada. I have a 1968 firebird convertible, currently has pontiac 400 in it. Just recently solved my overheating problems by installing a taurus elec fan. Just found out my convertible top motor / pump is toast. Anyways does anyone know of any local rebuilders or local shop where i could pick up a used convertible power motor?? thanks.

I would avoid a used power motor. Several places like National Parts Depot sells new rebuilt ones. You might be able to find a local hydraulic shop that can rebuild it for you also.

      Welcome.

Don't rebuild or get a used top pump. Go to: http://www.hydroe.com/

They have high quality stuff that fits and works. You don't want to take a chance on an unknown one for a few bucks.
